I had an EPIPHANY while we were saying our family rosary. Our lights literally started coming down on their own!
Apparently, if you hang them right, you'll never have to take down your Christmas lights. Here's the trick... simply use masking tape and they'll just start falling down after a couple of weeks! Easy peezy, lemon squeezy!
But, if they DON'T fall down, then you can keep them up all year long... like some of the folks around town. It seems that some peeps like to celebrate Christmas all year long. One more reason to live in good ole' Dale City!
Come to think of it... I think we'll keep the ones wrapped around our front hand rail. When I get home after dark, it's like a nice "runway" to the front door. Can't help but to smile when I see it.
How can there be too many children? That is like saying there are too many flowers. Mother Teresa

Nice...It's very ethnic, ya know...to leave those lights up. In Cally, you could se the big bulbs on the houses, but they wouldn't turn them on until Advent!!! Now that's funny. Oh...better when the icicles lights came out and they hung in complete strings lengthwise about three inches every 2inch spacing apart...NIIIIICCCCCEEEE Channy!!
