Very strange... as far back as I can remember, I've been a loner. I used to go to movies, belly up at a pub, go anywhere or do anything all by myself without any discomfort. Don't get me wrong... I enjoy company, but I've always had the ability to do just about anything without needing anybody to be with me. I've never had a problem being by myself (except for those occasional stormy nights when I was a toddler).
It probably has something to do with a coping mechanism from a young age. I have two older sisters, but no brother. My sisters from the beginning had each other to play with, share a room and sleep with. I've slept by myself most of my life. Now tonight, I have to sleep alone. Christi is on a women's retreat this weekend and will not be home until Sunday afternoon. I have a house full of kids who just went to bed after we watched "Everyone's Hero." Now I don't have anybody to talk to. I've gotten used to hangin' out with Christi every night and just talking during commercials or whenever I feel like muting the TV because something nutty pops into my head that I want to share.
This is just a bizarre experience. I have soo much I can do and want to do, but I don't feel like doing it. Probably because I'm burned out from work. I just feel like hanging out with somebody... I guess I've gotten used to Christi always being here. We don't have cable TV, so I'm stuck with just the major networks over the free airwaves. I've always relied on my creative nuttiness to get me through any boredom. I thought about playing around with the video camera and making a goofy short movie or start "vlogging", but I've shot so much video footage, taken hundreds of photos, edited hours of video and soundtrack over the past month, I'm burned out. Maybe I'll break out the old sketch pad until I get tired... or just watch some mindless TV again... or Gladiator.
How can there be too many children? That is like saying there are too many flowers. Mother Teresa

Dear Stan,
There's Dad next door...LOL. He never runs out of anything to say. Sorry, you're feeling a little alone tonight. I Loved the birthday gift, btw, and I know jow much time and thought was put into it. It was definitely very special and dear to me!! Anything with the children in the gift process is awesome. They are just sooo beautiful. The blogs are also treat for me. To be able to see your family and Mary's like this on a daily basis is precious. I Love you and give those children a big hello ang hugs from Aunt June.
Your very much older SIS...J
Happy Birthday June! I'm glad you like the gift.
Not feeling so lonely now when all the kids are awake. As for sleeping... Felicity crawled in bed around 3AM.
RE: Dad... I wanted somebody to talk with not somebody to listen to all night. ;-) No but really, I should've invited him over.
You? Bored? You can't be serious!!! And no disrespect, but if you had invited Dad over for a bit, you'd wish you were alone..... hahaha..... just kiddin'.
