Blogger Sucks!

Sorry dear, but I had to use the word, "SUCKS!" Because it does!

The ability to modify or customize blogger is too janky. So I'm going to move this blog to our own domain.

Christi has been wanting borders for a long time... particularly this style with her favorite color - purple. Easy peezy, right? It's easy if you like it "as is." Just copy and paste the code you want and your done... simple.

However, I want to personalize it (something more unique), so I've been reworking the code they give you, but the "real" code is hidden and not accessible. Bummer.

After an hour of trying to modify somebody else's code, I've decided to create a whole new website from scratch (one that I can have complete control over ALL the coding and back up to archive). Once it's up and running, this blogspot is history. This site will only have a link to the new site. Migrating all the existing content over to the new site with the correct dates and times may be a little tricky. But it will be worth it in the end.

I just can't believe I haven't done this sooner. Too busy I guess. But, I also think it's time to sharpen up the web and multimedia skillz and stay ahead of the curve... esp. in today's job market.
