My little sister had a birthday yesterday. I thought about her all day, but didn't have the uninterrupted time to sit and write some of these thoughts down,Ok, I know this is a day late.....but if anyone will understand, a sister will ( I hope :o) I've known her 30 some odd years, and I love her more every day....so here's a little tribute to her...
50 things you may not know about Cyd...
1. Her name is not Cyd
2. It is Cynthia or Cyndi, but I will not get into the details
3. She has three beautiful daughters
4....just like her mother did
5. She married an Italian (not in the mafia)
6. Deep down she is a homebody ,
7. even though she moved 10 hours away!
8. she is a very faithful friend, to a fault
9. she had more boys for friends than girls growing up
10. she played on the high school girls soccer team
11. and was pretty darn good!
12. I was the first one to "catch" her doing anything naughty
13. and I think she was more afraid of me than our parents
14. Like "not cutting her new doll's hair" :o)
15. she has a tatoo ( to honor our mom)
16. She is a fitness trainer
17. and a bit of a health nut
18. She was a "pong" champion in college
19. She really cares about people in need...
20. and helped build a house with Habitat for Humanity last year
21. She's a miss fix-it around the house
22. and has fixed toilets, and much more
23. she probably has her "own tools"
24. She's a pretty good cook
25. especially on the grill
26. She has driven more miles with those little girls in the last 10 years than I can count... to visit us
27. She was neurotic about setting up her stuffed animals as a child
28. cuddles the bear and ( that little dog) had to be held together with a ponytail
29. just in case she had to grab them in the event of a fire...heheheh
30. She is very sentimental
31. and listens to a lot of old music
32. Like Neil Diamond
33. She loves Dove chocolate
34. and Red wine
35. She keeps in touch with most of her college friends
36. and some high school ones
37. She loves her nieces and nephews
38. and spoils them rotten!
39.If I start singing, "Sittin' in a restaurant...."
40.she could finish the song
41. She worked at KFC in highschool
42. She is good friends with her hair dresser
43. She graduated from JMU
44. and lived there with me for 3 years
45. She is a great mom
46. and sister
47. She used to sneak cheese out of the refrigerator...ALL the time!
48. She was a spelling bee champion (what year I can't remember)
49. I always wanted to be like her...
50. and still do...

Wow. That was the best gift ever. You have and incredible memory and are too kind. I loved it! It made me laugh and cry. It almost makes me want to go back to being called Cyndi- but that would take too much energy. So I'll just stick to letting you call me that. Thanks for being the best sister.
