Since we were soo busy celebrating Natalie's birthday early last week and Thanksgiving, this birthday post is a little bit late. But as I sat alone in the dark this morning thinking about my little...excuse me big girl :o), I was remembering that on this day ten years ago, Natalie was baptized...on the Feast of Saint Andrew. I remember sitting by her isolette in the NICU waiting for our friend Father Barkett who shares her birthday (Nov. 28) to come and baptize her into the Family of God before she went in to surgery. I am so thankful for Our Lords loving care of this little girl who is a miracle and a blessing to our family. I can't believe you are double digits already! So in honor of ten wonderful years, here's ten things you may not know about Natalie:
1. She was my longest labor (22 hours) and had surgery at two days old.
2. She is one of our two blue-eyed children
3. Strawberries are her favorite (and very hard to find in November :o) )
4. She loves fairies and butterflies
5. She has a wonderful imagination
6. and loves to write stories and plays with her big sister
7. She was our only thumbsucker :o)
8. and she quit that on her own at four!
9. She got straight A's on her report card! and works very hard
10. She has a smile and laugh that light up a room, and we are told that by people all the time!
We love you sweetheart...Happy Birthday and Baptism Day!

Dear Natalie,
I spared you the special "Happy Birthday" song this year, but I hope you got my message. It's awesome you got to ride a horse!!! You've gotten so big on us, so quickly. I love fairies, butterflies, and dragonflies too!!!
Have a wonderul year Sweetie,
Love Aunt June
Getting spared the birthday song by Aunt June is a birthday gift in itself, huh Nat?
